Northstar Portable Buildings provides FREE delivery. Free delivery and setup include one trip to the delivery location within 50 odometer miles from the nearest Northstar location, "on lot inventory" over 50 miles are subject to a $6/mile charge one way, and any additional trips may also incur charges to the customer. "Free Setup" includes leveling of the building, starting with one corner at ground level, up to 3' with customer supplied blocks.

RENT TO OWN was established as an alternative to mini-warehousing. Our no strings plans allows you to have your own storage facility for your backyard or business, when and where you need it. The low monthly rental rates are comparable to mini-warehousing rates per square foot. You are not required to fill out a credit application, nor are you required to keep your building.

Floor
All buildings come with their own pressure treated floor system. 8' and 10' buildings have 2 4x6 notched runners with pressure treated floor joists 16" on center. All 12' wide buildings have 4 runners. Floor decking is 5/8" pressure treated LP flooring fastened down with 3" hot dipped galvanized nails.
Walls
All walls are framed with true 2x4's 16" on center and double studded every 48" under siding joints. This makes a much tighter seam under siding joints...
How many blocks do I need?
Blocking. Recommended block size is 8x8x16 SOLID BLOCK. Pads are optional but highly recommended.

How much is the blocking fee?
6x10 up to 12x28 in length is $100 each level of blocking. 12x29 or larger in length is $150 each level of blocking. Recommended block size is 8x8x16 SOLID BLOCK. Pads are optional but highly recommended
How soon will I receive my building?
Average time for delivery when purchasing a building that is already at the Dealer’s Lot is 5-7 Business Days. The average time for delivery when purchasing a Custom Ordered building is 4-6 weeks. Excluding Holidays, weekends, and always with weather permitting. Our 3rd party delivery company will contact you to schedule delivery.
What do I need to do to prep my area for delivery?
Please ensure there are no obstacles (trees, fences, gates, low hanging wires, etc.) prior to delivery. Buildings are generally around 12' tall and we require an extra 2-3' of height clearance to ensure no damage occurs to the roof of the building during set up.
Please ensure there is at least an extra 2' of width clearance to bring the building onto
the property to ensure no damage occurs to the sides of the building.
Example: an 8ft wide needs 10ft of clearance. A 10ft wide needs 12ft of clearance.
We DO NOT offer any tree trimming, gate removal or fence removal services.
**PLEASE NOTE: If there is a balance due to pay off your building at the time of delivery, the payment is to be turned into the driver in the form of CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK, MONEY ORDER made payable to Shed Daddy's. We can also run a CREDIT CARD through our QR Code/App if you so choose.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
How does my building get leveled?
All customers have the option of placing their building on concrete blocks for an extra fee. 6’x10’ up to 12’x28’ buildings are $100 per layer of blocks. 12’x29’ and larger are $150 per layer of blocks. Drivers will only place buildings on 8x8x16 SOLID CONCRETE blocks, no exceptions. All blocking fees are due to the driver on the day of delivery in CASH ONLY.
